Prenatal Visits

A prenatal visit allows expectant parents to meet our providers, tour our office, and ask questions about the birth and care of their baby. After your visit, we hope you will feel confident in our providers and staff and comfortable in our office.
We offer in-office and telemedicine appointments for prenatal visits Monday through Friday. Call (240) 585-7128 to schedule your visit!
Newborns
You do not need to register your baby with our office before birth. Simply inform your obstetrician or the delivering hospital that you have chosen our practice to care for your baby. After delivery, your care team should forward your baby's records to us and assist you in setting up a newborn appointment before you leave the hospital.
We recommend scheduling your baby's first check-up for 2-3 days after you leave the hospital. Please remember to bring any records from the hospital and a copy of your insurance information. Your baby will be covered under your insurance for the first thirty days but must be enrolled with your insurance carrier as soon as possible. If you do not complete this within the first thirty days after birth, your child will not have insurance coverage under your policy.
Patient Transfers
For children new to our practice, please complete our Medical Record Release Form, and we will submit it to your previous provider to obtain your records. It is not necessary for us to receive these records before scheduling your first appointment. If you have already requested records from the previous provider, please bring any copies of your child’s medical records, especially vaccination records, to the appointment. Additionally, please bring your ID and current insurance card.
