For non-established patients receiving acute care services, we recommend follow-up with your primary provider after each visit.
Acute Care Service Policy
- First priority is given to patients who are in acute distress or may have a life-threatening condition
- Second priority is given to any child less than two months of age due to the fact that infants this age might have a serious condition that requires immediate treatment and these children are more susceptible to contagious infections if left in the waiting room
- All other patients will be seen in order of arrival
When to go to the emergency room for acute care services.
For acute care situations, we evaluate and treat a variety of minor non-emergent illnesses, but not every condition is appropriate for PM Kidz.
